Last updated: March 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the allmy.energy web application and progressive web app (collectively, the "Service"), operated by IOT Solutions AS ("we", "us", "our", "the Company"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

allmy.energy is an energy management platform that provides users with an updated overview of energy consumption and energy costs based on data from smart meters. The Service includes, but is not limited to:

  • Energy monitoring: Viewing hourly, daily, and monthly electricity, district heating, district cooling, gas, and water consumption data.
  • Cost analysis: Viewing energy costs including grid costs, energy costs, consumption taxes, Enova taxes, spot prices, and total costs.
  • Charts and analytics: Interactive charts for cost vs. consumption, temperature correlation, duration curves, maximum power, spot price comparison, and energy-temperature (ET) plots.
  • Smart meter import: Importing meter data from Elhub (the Norwegian metering data hub) by metering point ID.
  • Tags and portfolios: Organizing meters into hierarchical groups (tags) with shared access, attributes, reports, maps, documents, and videos.
  • Reports and export: Generating reports in table, bar chart, line chart, and plot formats, with export to PDF, Excel, and CSV.
  • Solar calculator: Calculating solar panel profitability, including production estimates, self-sufficiency rates, payback periods, and detailed savings analysis (available to authorized users).
  • Cost simulator: Simulating energy costs under different parameters such as energy reduction, subsidies, grid vendors, products, and Nord Pool price zones (NO1–NO5).
  • Geographic visualization: Viewing meter locations on interactive maps.
  • Tag sharing: Sharing tag access with other users via edit or view access links.
  • Grid provider management: Managing network company data and product pricing (administrator access only).

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

3.1. You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

4. User Data and Privacy

4.1. Data We Collect Directly from You

  • Email address (required)
  • First name and last name
  • Mobile/phone number (optional)
  • Password (stored in encrypted/hashed form)
  • Two-factor authentication enrollment data (TOTP secrets, WebAuthn credentials)
  • User preferences (favorite meters, favorite tags, language preference)

4.2. Data We Process on Your Behalf

The following data is retrieved from external sources (such as Elhub and grid operators) and processed within the Service:

  • Energy consumption readings (hourly, daily, monthly)
  • Energy cost breakdowns (grid costs, energy costs, taxes, spot prices)
  • Meter metadata (meter number, building name, type, location including zip code, city, latitude, and longitude)
  • Weather/temperature data for consumption correlation
  • Solar production and export data
  • Grid vendor and product pricing information
  • Tag attributes, documents, and associated metadata

4.3. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We use the following third-party services in the operation of the Service:

  • Sentry (error monitoring and performance tracking, EU-hosted) — collects anonymized error reports, session replay data (sampled at 10%, 100% on errors), and performance traces.
  • Microsoft Clarity (user experience analytics) — may collect heatmaps, session recordings, and interaction data to improve the Service.
  • Vercel Analytics (web analytics) — collects anonymized usage data for performance and traffic analysis.
  • Google (OAuth authentication) — when using Google sign-in, authentication data is exchanged with Google.

4.4. Cookies

The Service uses cookies for authentication and session management. These include authentication tokens managed by the Supabase/GoTrue authentication system. These cookies are essential for the functioning of the Service and cannot be disabled while using it.

4.5. Data Storage and Security

  • User account data and energy data are stored in secured databases.
  • Authentication is managed by a self-hosted GoTrue (Supabase Auth) server with PKCE-based security flows.
  • Two-factor authentication (TOTP and WebAuthn/passkeys) is available and encouraged for enhanced account security.
  • All data transfers use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

5. Elhub Integration and Data Consent

5.1. To import smart meter data from Elhub, you must grant explicit permission to IOT Solutions AS through Elhub's consent management system.

5.2. You may revoke this permission at any time through Elhub. Upon revocation, no new meter data will be imported, though previously imported data may be retained in accordance with these Terms.

5.3. We access Elhub data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not sell or redistribute your meter data to third parties for commercial purposes unrelated to the Service.

6. Access Sharing and Collaboration

6.1. The Service allows you to share access to tags (groups of meters) with other users through unique access links, granting either edit or view permissions.

6.2. You are responsible for the distribution and management of access links you generate. Anyone with a valid access link can gain the corresponding level of access.

6.3. You may regenerate access links at any time to revoke access previously granted through older links.
